There have been plenty (maybe too many) adaptations of alternate cover art for films that everyone knows and loves–Tarantino’s works especially. Few of them go the route of the screenplay cover, and that’s part of what makes Sharm Murugiah’s work really cool. Django Unchained, Inglorious Basters, Death Proof, Kill Bill (Vol. 1 and Vol. 2), Jackie Brown, Pulp Fiction, True Romance and Reservoir Dogs all done up in Murugiah’s take of what the Screenplay cover could have looked like, and then printed on natural white, matte, ultra smooth, 100% cotton rag archival paper with digital dry ink (these things are actually important). All we really care about though is the fact that they look really cool.
