Retro Book Cover Posters Inspired By Wes Anderson Movies

It’s almost impossible to find a person that “likes” a Wes Anderson flick. The unique filming style, story and direction are polarizing when it comes to the audience, so it’s usually a love it or hate it kind of discussion. Most of us here at Cool Material, and a good portion of you reading it, fall into the former camp, so we’re pretty stoked to find these find retro style (call them mid century modern if you want) paperback book cover posters inspired by Wes Anderson movies. Etsy shop Concepción Studios designed a few different minimalist prints based on The Life Aquatic, Rushmore, The Royal Tenenbaums and The Grand Budapest Hotel. Each piece alludes to something from the movie but displays it in a way that’s reminiscent of the covers of the books you’d check out from the library when you were younger.
