The Tropical Walnut, or Nogal, is often planted in Nicaragua to provide shade for coffee plants growing below. After around 60 years, these workhorse trees are cut down in lieu of younger ones. Instead of letting some of this prized wood go to waste, it’s been repurposed and turned into these stunning tool boxes. Each is handmade from Tropical Walnut and features a tray for loose screws, nails, and small tools, and a space below for bigger tools. And while it makes for a tremendously cool tool box, it also looks good on your dresser holding your EDC gear or other small trinkets.
