Nintendo finally pulled back the curtain on their next console, and the Nintendo Switch is everything we wanted from them in a next gen console. We don’t know much about what exactly is powering it other than that it’s powered on some level by NVIDIA hardware, but we do know how it will look and work. The base station console includes a removable tablet with high-end graphics that allows you to take your games on the go. You can split the control in half to use each of the pieces separately or with a friend, or attach them to the sides of the Switch screen to play on the go. In other words, you’ll be able to adventure with Mario, Link and all the other great Nintendo characters whether you’re walking the dog, sitting on an airplane or just killing time at the office. Nintendo Switch is slated for release March 2017.
