At first glance it looks as if the guys who invented Nasty Clamps simply rummaged through the drawers of their workbench and Gorilla Glued a few things together. Despite the fact that the Nasty Clamp looks like a standard metal spring clamp on a bendable stick, the whole in this case is greater than the sum of its parts. Slap one on your camera (or more accurately – screw it in like you would a tripod) and you can get all kinds of new stabilized shots. Of course the uses don’t stop at your camera, attach it to lighting units, audio recorders or an off-camera flash. Hook it up to your Flip cam and go hands free at your next party for the opportunity to get great video of you drawing balls on your passed out buddy’s face.
