The Marshmallow Ping Pong Table Is Made from Crushed Metal Pipes

The Marshmallow Ping Pong Table Is Made from Crushed Metal Pipes

We’ve seen quite a few unique and otherwise intriguing ping pong tables over the years that put the standard green you’re thinking of to shame. One look at this new variant from Studio Vono is all it takes to realize it belongs on any list of favorites, and that’s before you even consider the construction methods. The Marshmallow Ping Table is named as such because the legs are made with metal pipes that have been smashed by a hydraulic press much like what happens when you crush a marshmallow between your fingers. Couple that with the all black surface and net and you have everything you need for a ping pong table that will look great in just about any space. And that’s probably why it was nominated as one of the Best New Designer Products at the recent Designblok 2018 design festival in Prague.
