Radu had an idea for a lamp that stood like a superhero with a head made out of a motorcycle headlamp. He had worked on a previous Kickstarter project with a designer Andrew, so it seemed only natural the two would work together on a new project. The Lampster is a large desk lamp that perfectly melds vintage hardware with new technology and whimsy with high design. You can control the two LED lights and three types of light via touch or with your mobile device (including syncing it to music via Bluetooth). The aluminum neck mechanism that holds the tractor or motorcycle head to the high-density polyethylene body adjusts 360 degrees for light in any direction. Then there’s the paint jobs. The little lamp that could is individually hand painted with a color, logo or style of your choice (including initials). He even has a collection of accessories to hold pens and cords to keep your desk organized.
