Kai Takeshima is a Japanese born artist and designer currently based in Quebec who’s making gorgeous, minimal pieces of furniture with quality materials and designs you won’t find anywhere else. This is great news for all of us collecting records because his latest piece is designed specifically for us. Record Display I is made of walnut and brass and designed to hold approximately 290 total records in six separate shelves that are tilted six degrees for optimal shuffling and display. The entire piece is finished with oil and also features open concept legs to avoid the appearance of bulkiness. It will definitely look a whole helluva lot better than whatever IKEA furniture you’re currently using to display your collection.
