Over the years, IKEA has created quite a few innovative designs that improved on existing products or thinking. The new IKEA PS 2017 bowl and plate might take top honors because they’re perfect for lounging. The plate and bowl were created by multi-disciplinary designer Maja Ganszyniec with “high edges so you don’t spill or burn yourself when carrying food.” There’s also an edge for “croutons, extra spices or pushing tomato skins and olive pits to the side.” Cook your meal—preferably with one of the new IKEA recipe sheets—put it in the bowl, and easily make your way to the couch, desk or table with your food in one hand and a drink in the other. The microwave- and dishwasher-safe bowl and plate are made of tempered glass for durability and impact-resistance, along with being incredibly convenient and easy to stack in the cabinet when they’re not in use.
