Between the smart TV, smart lights, smart clocks and all the other smart appliances recording everything you say in your home, you might think you have enough smart appliances. You don’t. You want the latest smart bed from Hi Interiors. It’s called the HiBed, and it was conceived of by Italian architect and designer Fabio Vinella. The first thing you’re going to notice is the smoothly shaped, exposed polygonal structure that’s kind of like a mid century modern take on a four poster canopy bed. Don’t get us wrong, it’s gorgeous–but the looks are only part of the allure. On the smart side, the HiBed has a built-in, retractable screen with an HD projector that shines up from the bottom and hidden speakers for all your entertainment needs. It also has lighting on the side for walking and above for reading, along with biometric sleep monitoring, a smart alarm system and an integrated workspace. You might never get out of it except to use the bathroom. No word yet on pricing, but if it’s anything like their first release HiCan, it’s going to cost quite a bit.
