You’re probably already half way through the checkout process to buy this pen based on the pictures and the fact the brand is named Hardcore Hardware Australia. If you’re not, the TWI in the name stands for tactical writing instrument, and this is a “pen” that really doesn’t mess around. The dome shaped crown of the pen is made from high-grade stainless steel and, in line with the bravado of the pen, can be used as a glass break in emergency situations. The shaft of the pen is constructed from 6000 series, non-reflective black anodized aluminum and the pointed tip can be used as a PDA stylus or for “sensitive investigative work.” At this point, there’s really no reason to think this isn’t one of the coolest pens out there, but wait there’s more. It’s outfitted with a series of O-rings that make it completely waterproof, and it works with standard Fisher Space Pen or Parker refills.
