Long before Snooki’s Seaside search for pickles – both actual and metaphorical – another way more famous boardwalk was where the action went down. Though now associated with crazy dudes inhaling hot dogs, Coney Island was once the epicenter of summer. Now you can own a piece of the iconic boardwalk thanks to Uhuru, a Brooklyn-based furniture design company, in the form of this Boardwalk Table. The wood used to create the table is all from the actual Coney Island Boardwalk (chewing gum and seagull crap removed). How many pieces of furniture do you have that contain 70 years of history? Seeing as how there’s only so much of the actual Coney Island Boardwalk Ipe wood to go around, there will only be 10 of these tables made, so if you’re ready to drop over 10 G’s on a table you gotta move faster than the Cyclone.
