Hard candy has long been relegated to blue and white porcelain bowls that sit atop coffee tables in Grandmothers’ homes everywhere. They’re the Matlock of candy. The only one that ever seemed to transcend generations was Werther’s Originals and even those never held a candle to some Sour Patch Kids or a box of Nerds. Brooklyn Hard Candy has set out to reclaim the old-fashioned hard candy as something desirable for a younger, less Rascal-driving crowd. Flavors include Concord Grape, Wild Strawberry, Green Apple, Blueberry, Pineapple and Tangerine. We support every idea that was conceived over a few drinks (minus drunk dialing an ex) so we are onboard with these guys. All the candies can be enjoyed with or without dentures.
