Zero Dark Thirty may have lost out to Argo at the Oscars, but it captured a far more prestigious honor – it was included in our Best Movies from A-Z list. Now, we haven’t had a chance to get a quote from Jessica Chastain about it, but we’re sure she would say what a tremendous honor it is (while looking stunning in a subdued color dress). Zero Dark Thirty was one of the year’s best pictures for many reasons. First, it tackled a huge subject (the tracking and . . . *SPOILER ALERT* . . . killing of Bin Laden). Secondly, it did so without holding back. It told the story like it happened, even if it happened to upset some people in the process. It’s gritty, real, and an amazing look at the events that took place in the greatest manhunt in history.
