There are really one three significant similarities between this movie and the book it’s based on. The words World and War, and the letter Z. The people that absolutely loved the book (read; everyone) have a right to bitch for squandering awesome source material, but honestly, the movie isn’t bad. It’s completely ridiculous, non-stop implausible zombie murdering action based on an absurd string of fortuitous events that somehow get Brad Pitt around the world. Ultimately, World War Z the film isn’t really anything like the book, but that just means you get two different ways to digest some sweet zombie smashing. With this collection, it’s actually more like four because it includes Blu-Ray, DVD and a digital download.
