‘The Meyerowitz Stories (New and Selected)’ Official Trailer

We’re always up for a good family comedy/drama and The Meyerowitz Stories (New and Selected) doesn’t look like it’s going to disappoint. The cast they’ve put together is an unexpected amalgam of different genres and eras, with Adam Sandler, Ben Stiller, Emma Thompson, Elizabeth Marvel, and Dustin Hoffman rounding out the main cast. Those aren’t the people we’d expect to see in a movie together, but they seem to work well and create a family that’s a little more relatable than the standard “rich but troubled” families that seem to make up the majority of these types of movies. Also, honestly, we’re just happy to see Adam Sandler in a movie that isn’t a paid vacation for him and his buddies. Overall, Netflix has been doing a good job with their original movies and it doesn’t look like the streak is going to end here.
