When it comes to making music, Trent Reznor is, quite literally, a one man band. When he’s not busy being Nine Inch Nails he’s one of the most influential composers/producers/songwriters in the business. He’s written music for everything from Beavis and Butthead to Degrassi and everything in between. When he teamed up with his Watson, Atticus Ross, to write and score The Social Network, it won an Academy Award. The two of them are back in the saddle for the soundtrack of The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo and it’s every bit as good as their award winning prior performance. This three disc box set includes a total of 39 tracks, one of which is a Reznor and Karen O (lead singer of the Yeah Yeah Yeahs’) take on Zeppelin’s “Immigrant Song.” It’s candy for your ears.
