The full title of this book is The Cook’s Illustrated Meat Book: The Game-Changing Guide that Teaches You How to Cook Meat and Poultry with 425 Bulletproof Recipes. Full disclosure: we haven’t read the entire book… in print. Thanks to Amazon’s handy “Look Inside” feature, we got through most of the book. We’re still buying it ourselves in print because everything in the title is absolutely true. Clear directions. Illustrations. Burgers. Steak. Ribs. Tools. Cuts. Poultry. Cutlets. Stir fry. This book lays out everything from the shopping to the final product, which just might make it the definitive guide when it comes to meat. You actually have to do the shopping, preparation and cooking, but armed with The Cook’s Illustrated Meat Book you’ll deliver a delicious meal every time.
