Freddy Fabris is a photographer who’s been working in the advertising industry for over 16 years. His client list reads like a collection of the brands we interact with on a regular basis: Levi’s, Unilever, BMW, Toyota, Ford, Energizer, Coca Cola, the list goes on. For The Renaissance Series project he wanted to do something a little different, so he translated famous paintings into photos using mechanics from an old Midwest car shop. His homage to the masters retains their original essence but ultimately results in a body of work that is entirely new. In our opinion, each photo deserves to hang in a museum next to the original. Check out more of Freddy’s work on his site.
