Pigalle’s Colorful Basketball Court Tucked Between Paris Apartments

Pigalle’s Colorful Basketball Court Tucked Between Paris Apartments
Pigalle is a French brand named for an area in Paris around the Place Pigalle. In order to celebrate the launch of Pigalle Basketball, they teamed up with Ill-Studio to create a color-blocked basketball court between two apartment buildings on Rue Duperré. The court was originally renovated by Stephane Ashpool, Pigalle founder, in 2009 (he’s been training local youths there for years), but this time around the end result is a ridiculously colorful combination of primary color blocks that look amazing. We can’t comment about how easy it is to maintain your composure while you’re trying to drive through a basketball court version of a Mondrian painting, but it sure as hell looks cool.
