ABC’s Shark Tank has given us some stupendously awful gadgets and a few rare items that happen to be great (see: The Bevbuckle). Kevo would be one of the latter. The iPhone-operated door lock, which debuted on the show, was picked up by Kwikset and is ready to remove the hassle of searching for your house key. Just keep your iPhone in your pocket and touch the lock to let yourself in. Best of all, you can send an electronic key to family members, your neighbor while they’re watching your dog, or your buddy who has a case of beer he wants to drop off while you’re at work. (Of course, you can delete them once they’re done dropping off the booze). If you don’t use an iPhone, you can use the Kevo Fob but will have to buy extra to give out. It will launch this summer and is expected to retail in the $250 range.
