If you haven’t heard the name Clemens Habicht before, he’s a man of many creative talents. In addition to a renowned director, illustrator and designer, Habicht is also a puzzle maker who loves to play with color. His latest creation is 1000 Changing Colours, another jigsaw puzzle of ridiculous difficulty co-produced with Lamington Drive Editions. This time around, instead of just having to complete an eye-straining 1,000 piece puzzle, you’ll also have to deal with the added difficulty of the pieces changing colors depending on the angle you view them at. It was printed in Poland using a lenticular lens that results in pieces that shimmer and constantly change color until you physically lock them into place. This is easily on of the best jigsaw puzzles out there. If you’re brave enough to attempt the challenge, make sure to take breaks so you don’t hurt your eyes. The 1000 Changing Colours puzzle is currently available for pre-order with an expected shipping date of late October.
