We’ll need 50 cc’s of whisky and this knife next time we go to town on a Texas rib-eye. The Skalpel is a steak knife that’s designed to look just like the scalpel a surgeon would use for precision cuts. That makes a lot of sense, because when we devour a piece of steak, we want to pick that bone clean. Groves in the handle allow for a secure grip and ergonomic details throughout make it comfortable to hold. Each Skalpel is handmade by Stuart Mitchell, a master knife maker with over 35 years of experience, out of a solid section of steel. The knife will hit Kickstarter on February 19.
