Thanks to a new partnership with BMW, you can now camp on top of your MINI Countryman with an Autohome tent. If you’ve never heard of Autohome before, they’re Italian specialists in all things rooftop camping. If you want an alternative to a great camping tent that requires setup on the ground, odds are Autohome makes one for your vehicle. What makes this particular collaboration interesting is the fact that this special edition AirTop roof tent model was designed in collaboration with the MINI Design Team. The tent still looks like a traditional rooftop transport box when closed and pops up for sleeping or relaxing purposes in a few easy steps, but since it was designed with MINI it’s built to attach directly to the model-specific roof rail carrier with absolutely no tools required, which also means it can be easily removed if necessary. The tent itself features a high-density mattress, two doors and windows, mesh mosquito nets and a battery-operated LED interior light.
