Designed and developed by Sierra Madre Research, Inferno is a two piece insulation system that lets you use your hammock in the winter. Inferno was born out of a desire to take the hammock out of the warm weather only gear bin in order to use it to enjoy scenic vistas that just so happen to be covered in an enormous layer of fresh powder. Inferno is a two part sleeping bag style insulation system that quickly attaches around your existing hammock to sandwich it—and you—in a protective cocoon that will keep you nice and toasty even if it’s zero degrees. Both the Inferno Top Quilt and Under Quilt are built with lightweight materials like RDS 800 fill power DownTek Down, a protective HydraSHIELD fabric exterior and a StretchTeck Pattern to prevent insulation compression, so it’s functional, durable and easy to transport. In order to keep you as warm as possible, the Top Quilt is designed with an enclosed foot nest and hood along with comfort cinches for different body types. Inferno is the best way to prevent cold butt while in your hammock.
