Igloo ECOCOOL Hard-Sized Coolers Are Made with Recycled Plastics

Igloo ECOCOOL Hard-Sized Coolers Are Made with Recycled Plastics

For more than the last half century, Igloo has been producing the coolers we all rely on for properly stored sundries and excellently chilled beers when we’re out of the proximity of a fridge. They’ve made quite a few remarkable innovations like the Party Bar Cooler and Kegmate Beer Tap Cooler over the past couple years, but their most impressive addition to the collection of the best hard shell coolers happened recently with the announcement of ECOCOOL, the world’s first hard-sided coolers made in the USA with recycled plastic. Igloo took 58 tons of recycled resin made primarily from plastic yogurt cups and milk jugs and transformed it from 10 football fields of landfill space into a limited run of premium coolers in five different styles that keep everything cool while also doing some good. The Igloo ECOCOOL Cooler Collection is slated for an April 22nd release with five different options–Little Playmate 7 Qt, Latitude 30 Qt, Latitude 52 Qt, Latitude 20 Qt Rolling and Latitude 90 Qt Rolling–starting at just $25.
