Alex Crane, the brand behind some of my favorite basics, recently launched their Overdye Collection — and it’s brilliant. Instead of trying to start from scratch, the design team behind Alex Crane utilized the existing (and extremely popular) Lines pattern in a new way. By overdying this existing fabric (as the name suggests), it adds an entirely new dimension and product offering, at once modernizing the Lines pattern while also being its own unique option entirely. Currently, this collection includes a pants and short option, available in either Chai (a tannish brown) and Dusk (a deep navy).
