Tron: Legacy presents a bit of a dilemma for us. Aside from the times when we are, you know, actually watching it, we’ll have a hard time walking by a television on which it’s playing without stopping and watching. Its attack on us is threefold. First, the visuals are far more attractive than those quasi-cheesy ones from the original. Second, even if we keep our eyes directed elsewhere like we were avoiding Medusa, we’d still probably catch a bit of the music crafted by Daft Punk. And third, even if we avoided all this because we knew we had to get work done or something, one glimpse of Olivia Wilde in her skin-tight, somewhat dominatrix looking outfit, and you might as well pass us the popcorn.
