If you’ve ever wondered why you can’t quite nail the recreation of your favorite Asian restaurant dishes at home, it could very well come down to the quality of the sauces you’re using. We’re big fans of both soy sauce and tamari, but they’re always better at the restaurant. David Chang’s Momofuku just released their versions of both. These “restaurant-grade versions” are made from organic ingredients steeped with kombu to “unlock a world of depth and flavor” that’s the result of 10 years of flavor research at the Momofuku Culinary Lab. It’s time to upgrade from the Kikkoman, apparently. Momofuku’s Soy Sauce and Tamari are sold in a 2-pack that contains one 8oz bottle of each. Shipping takes approximately two weeks, so if you’re buying as a holiday gift, get it now.
