We’re willing to bet that every single one of you reading this has a set of “precision screwdrivers” that you bought yourself, were gifted or acquired over the years. Throw them all out and back the Kickstarter project for the Kinetic Driver because this is the best precision screwdriver we’ve seen. Incredible marketing campaign aside–go watch the videos–the “screwdriver that you don’t need” has all the features and performance bits that you really want in a tool. It’s equipped with a brass cylinder with a low cg that creates a flywheel effect that “feels like a superpower” whenever you use it. On the opposite end, it has a ceramic bearing in the head that feels like it’s just levitating between your fingers whenever you playfully spin it. Between those two parts you’ll find a handle with a knurling pattern that was carefully selected to create a satisfying grip and feel for great user experience and control. As if that wasn’t enough, it’s virtually immune to corrosion and the case doubles as a smart organizing platform for all the little bits you’re working with. Even the entry level option includes the Kinetic Driver, 24x precision Microbits, an organizer case and the option of a Brass or Stainless bearing ring.
