The British motorcycle manufacturing titan Triumph was originally founded almost a century and a half ago. Since then, the brand went defunct, was revitalized and produced everything from a 1,000hp motorcycle aimed at breaking the land speed record to a Steve McQueen Special Edition bike. And now, for the first time in the brand’s 100+ year history, they’re putting their passion for two-wheeled performance into an electric bicycle. The Triumph Trekker GT Electric Bicycle pairs the latest in e-bike technology with the brand’s world-renowned elegant style, comfort, quality and finish. It all sounds and looks good, but what does that mean in practice? A lightweight frame that’s hydro-formed from 6061 aluminum with full internal cable routing, integral lockable battery compartment and Shimano hardware–along with a Selle Royal Vivo Havac Tech seat, narrow-width handlebars and a crystal-clear display screen. Put that all together and you have a stylish, matte-painted bicycle that gives you a boost of up to 60 Nm of torgue for up to 93 miles.
