Converse All-Star Pro BB

Converse All-Star Pro BB

We played high school basketball in Converse Pro Leather high-tops in red on white leather. We loved those shoes, and so did just about anyone else who spent time on the court in a pair of Cons. The brand struggled when new brands jumped into the b-ball fray. Converse filed for bankruptcy, and they disappeared from the basketball scene completely in 2012. Under parent company Nike, Cons looks to make a resurgence with their All Star Pro BB, a shoe that captures the ethos of Cons but infuses new materials and tech into it. The shoe uses a single layer of foot-comformingNike Quadfit canvas mesh for the upper along with a streamlined rubber outsole for a clean look. The new shoe will drop in May at a price of $140 and will come in white and black, both of which capture the All Star look in a fresh and almost futuristic way.
