The sidecar, a motorcycle feature that seems like a relic from the past, is finally getting pulled into the future. The Ural All-Electric Prototype motorcycle boasts the retro add-on, allowing a passenger to ride in comfort without their arms wrapped around your body like they were a backpack. The addition of the sidecar also means more room for batteries on this three-wheeler, which is a good thing in terms of performance. Built on the brand’s one-wheel drive cT chassis, the Ural All-Electric Prototype offers a max speed of 88 mph and a max cruising speed of 65 mph. As the name suggests, it’s only a prototype at this stage, but we’re definitely giving this silent, eye-catching ride our vote of confidence. You just need to supply your passenger with some old-school goggles before you hit the road.
