Diamond Atelier’s Ducati Monster Is Built With 24K Gold

Designed by Miguel Angel Galluzzi and produced by Ducati in Bologna, the Ducati Monster has been in continuous production since the early ’90s. Of the approximately 300,000 produced in that time, this custom variation of the Monster 1200 R with 24K gold accents from Diamond Atelier in Munich is probably our favorite. What started as a 2017 Monster model has been transformed into the concours-ready build you see here with plenty of custom work and aftermarket pieces. The custom work started with a completely reworked tail that was mocked up in CAD before it was 3D printed and set onto its new subframe, and it continued all the way to the front with a custom top triple clamp. As for the performance bits, the list is long. Ducabike rearsets. Ducati Performance parts levers. Remus exhaust can. Motogadget turn signals. Parts from Gilles Tooling, Rizoma and it just keeps going. The stance, profile and overall style of the bike are bang on, but it’s the paint job with olive green and gold frame that really seals the deal.
