We’re all for hanging a great piece of art on the wall–especially when it comes from one of our favorite art and print shops–but there’s just something about a quality piece of furniture that’s artistic in its own right that can really make a room. Case in the point, the Rubika Bookcase from Anesis. Designed by George Bosnas for Anesis, the Rubika Bookcase is a mind-bending shelving system that pays homage to one of our most favorite, infuriating and puzzling 80’s toys, the Rubik’s Cube. The bookcase is made up of three separate diamond patterned sections each made of veneered or lacquered MDF in a number of different colors that, when assembled next to each other, are reminiscent of that iconic puzzle brick. In addition to being a fantastic storage area for everything from books and wine to plants and knick-knacks, it’s a great conversation piece because it really does look like a cube is emerging from your wall.
