As a young boy, Austin Ivey spent countless hours flying with his grandfather, a former U.S. Army pilot who flew C-47 transports during World War II. Those formative years sparked in Ivey a passion for aviation, a passion he would draw from in the creation of Tockr. Tockr makes watches inspired by the golden age of aviation and the daring individuals of that time. The brand is launching with three models, two in the C47 collection and the Air Defender, all of which are designed in Austin, Texas, with mechanical components and complications manufactured exclusively in Switzerland. Each timepiece takes style cues from airplanes of the early 20th century. In fact, the C47 watches are the only watches with a dial design based on the radial engines found in these old aircrafts. These are watches for those who possess a spirit of adventure along with a refined sense of style.
