If no one told you otherwise, you’d probably never know the BMW Motorrad x Krautmotors E-LisaBad Scooter you’re looking at began life as a relatively unassuming BMW C evolution scooter. With its BMW i3 battery modules, 100-mile range and roughly 53 ft lbs of torque, the donor scooter has some merit to be sure, but we’re willing to bet BMW Motorrad had no idea what they were getting into when they tapped Rolf Reick of Krautmotors for the conversion. Mechanically, the drag scooter was lowered and made fully rigid with the removal of the shock absorbers. The bike also got LSL handlebars and a slick in the back for the drag strip. The technical aspects, while impressive, don’t hold a candle to the retro sci-fi, Lucius-Fox-of-Batman-building-vehicles-for-the-Star-Trek-universe looks. The E-LisaBad was just unveiled at the Glemseck 101 festival in Leonberg, Germany.
