GRIME is one of the most prolific tattoo artists alive, and he has a body of work that’s worthy of a gallery. Recently, he teamed up with Ducati as part of their new Scrambler Mavericks program to design and build a bike that reflects his personality and retains the spirit and functionality of the Ducati Scrambler Icon he was tasked with using as a base. His final creation is a vintage style bike with striking geometric lines in the custom tank, light and rear fender that was clearly influenced by motocross bikes of the ’80s. The bike also incorporates an Italian flag on the tank, which is an obvious nod to Ducati. The bike debuted at the Handbuilt Motorcycle Show in Austin and will later be auctioned off through eBay for Charity, with all proceeds going to the Shriners Hospitals for Children.
