Designed to tackle the two weak spots of the classic Swiss Army knife (ergonomics and blade opening), Malvaux built the Number 1 Knife. The first thing you’ll notice about the knife is the non-traditional bent design. It seems odd at first, but it removes the fingernail opening struggle and makes the knife more comfortable while you’re actually using it. Any knife is only as good as its construction. Malvaux spared no expense on the build of the Number 1. The stainless blade is water-jet cut and smoothed in Switzerland before being refined and sharpened in Solingen. The shell is made of anodized aluminum that’s CNC-milled before being fitted with the lever and blade by hand. The Number 1 is available in Bonfire (orange) or Slate (gray) with each model being limited to 150 pieces.
