Wenley Andrews, Australian bike builder / customizer / fabricator / designer / auteur, might be best known for his savage Triumph builds, but this Honda CBR954RR—dubbed “Angry Bird”—is a street fighter unlike any other. Andrews started designing and having custom parts made for a CBR project almost a decade ago, even without a bike to put them on. Fast forward to today. Starting with a 2004 Honda CBR954RR, Andrews built a retro-fighter using a front-end from a VFR, double-barrel shotgun exhaust, widened wheel rim, rear car rim conversion, retro tracker seat and enough custom parts to open a whole new shop. The end result is a bike that’s part street fighter and part cafe racer while still being completely original and absolutely mean.
