When your company has been (for the most part) on hiatus since 1983, you might want to make a splash with your comeback. That’s what Barcelona-based Bultaco is planning to do next year. The first two bikes announced for the relaunch of the company are the Rapitán and the Rapitán Sport. Both feature a brushless electric motor with a lithium-ion battery and use the area where a gas tank would have been to let you store your helmet. You’ll get just under 90 miles on a fully-charged battery which takes about 3-5 hours to charge up. The bike can hit speeds of up to 90 mph and the electric motor delivers 54 horsepower and 92 pound-feet of torque. Not super practical if you live in the middle of cow fields, but perfect for getting around the streets of Madrid.
