Want to add a little vintage flair to your wrist? VERO Watch Company has teamed up with Smokey Bear to celebrate the US Forest Service’s iconic mascot’s 79th birthday. VERO has introduced two stylish watch designs: the ’44 and the ’64. The ’44 is based on popular designs from 1944, which was the year Smokey Bear was introduced by the US Forest Service. And the ’64 marks the year Smokey Bear got his own zip code for all his fan mail. Both watches sport a minimalist aesthetic with subtle touches that celebrate the US Forest Service. In fact, 10% of proceeds from the sales of these watches will go directly back to the US Forest Service. Both watch styles come in a custom box and sleeve that show off the vintage aesthetic and include a leather strap with quick release spring bars and a canvas NATO strap. The Smokey Bear watches sport a Seiko NH38A automatic movement with 41 hour power reserve and 120m of water resistance.
