Seiko 5 Sports Watches Are Coming Back

Seiko is finally resurrecting the Seiko 5 Sports line that was originally started in 1968 with an all new line of watches for 2019. Not one, two, or even ten different watches. When the Seiko 5 Sports line comes back in September, it will have no fewer than 27 different watches divided across five different styles (Sports, Suits, Specialist, Street and Sense). The new versions will have Seiko’s Caliber 4R36 automatic movement with 41-hour power reserves, Hardlex crystal, day/date window, recessed crown, arrow-shaped minute hand, one-way rotating bexel and new stylist dials with three-dimensional hour markers. MSRP for the new Seiko 5 Sports watches is expected to start at just over $300 when they are released.
