Casio. Timex. Suunto. Smith & Wesson. Invicta. Seiko. All of them make slim profile, eye catching military watches that look cool without going overboard. Nixon, the same people that brought us one of the first all rubber watches (and then rubber-ized everything else in their collection) and the gigantic 51-30, now has a slim, minimalistic, military style watch. It’s called The Quad and we love it. At 39mm, it’s one of the smallest Nixon’s we’ve ever seen, but right in line with the rest of the options in this area. Even though it’s outfitted with a nylon webbing, NATO-style strap, Nixon manages to keep theirs just a little classier than the other options you have if you’re looking for a watch of this type.
