Drawing on historically significant items for design cues is nothing new. It helped Detroit get back on their feet and continues to be a recurring theme in industrial design. It would only make sense then that some of that vintage revival love got applied to man’s favorite accessory – the watch. Based on the original 1964 US military specification MIL-W-46374, this MWC upgrade keeps the original disposable watches gorgeous lines, but upgrades everything else. The body has been upgraded to hardened steel; the movement has been upgraded to a more accurate Quartz movement. It’s simple, clean, elegant and designed to last a lifetime. At the end of the day, do you really need to know what time it is in three different places?
