This watch is called the Everest Edition for good reason–the face is made of an actual piece of rock collected from the summit of Mount Everest. At this point, the movement (Swiss automatic-winding), case metal (stainless) and band (supple leather) are pretty much irrelevant in the face of a piece of Everest rock. And yeah, it’s pricey, but that mountain doesn’t climb itself.
