Jack Mason has always impressed with their stylish and well-built watches that punch way above their weight class in terms of price. That said, most of their offerings tend to stay within the realm of what we’d consider classic or dressy, which is why we were so taken with the new Jack Mason Solar Watch. Decked out in what is probably best described as 80s colors, this stylish timepiece features plenty of bright purple, teal, and orange accents to pop against the black and steel. The bold watch was originally released for Earth Day and features a number of environmentally forward aspects. The case is cast 316L recycled stainless steel that’s tested for water-resistance up to 100 meters. It’s powered by a solar Epson VS42 movement situated below a sapphire crystal, purple perforated dial and rotating compass bezel. The 20mm Velcro strap that features all the same color combinations is made from recycled ocean plastic. As if that wasn’t enough, 10% of the profits get donated to the Jan & Oscar Foundation to help continued ocean clean up efforts.
