Until the announcement of the new Metal Twisted G-Shock series, dropping over $1000 on a G-Shock watch probably sounded insane. The MT-G collection, however, features three different metal versions of one of the most popular watches of the modern day and they clock in at a price that’s a tad more expensive than their elders. Each features a stainless steel exterior with resin underneath and alpha Gel that gives the timepiece its shock resistance. The watch uses a radio-controlled signal to set the the time and date and the resin panels on the band provide a more comfortable feel than other stainless steel watches out there. Whether you’re willing to drop the money on one of these guys is up to you.
