Buckshot Sonny’s Military Watches

Buckshot Sonny’s Military Watches

Maybe it’s an all too enthralling trip to Hodinkee, or just the fact that we’re kind of sick of the collection of modern watches sitting around, but we’ve been jonesing for a good looking vintage watch for a while. Money isn’t falling from trees these days, so we had to immediately rule out anything that could be sold at a Sotheby’s auction. Thankfully, Buckshot Sonny’s has a collection of authentic, military issue watches from Benrus and Hamilton dated from 1965-1980 that are all just shy of $400. Each watch is lovingly refurbished by master watch repairman Steve Evavold from Chicago’s Division Street Watch Co. You’re getting the same amount of history (if not more) and style as the much more expensive counterparts but at a fraction of the cost.
