‘The Batman’ Teaser Trailer

‘The Batman’ Teaser Trailer

When it comes to popular comic book characters and movie adaptations, there will be always be reboots because none of us should have to live in a world without Batman. When we first heard about the upcoming The Batman reboot starring Robert Pattinson in the titular role, we were as dubious about how that was going to play out as the rest of you. But after watching this The Batman trailer that DC just released, we’re pretty damn excited. This darker, more detective noir take on the character sees a much younger Bruce Wayne at the beginning of his journey to becoming the caped crusader. The suit and Batmobile are much more “built in a cave from a box of scraps” than ultra-high-tech like previous versions, which is just one of the many interesting takes that could make this latest iteration succeed. Then there’s the supporting cast. Jeffrey Wright as James Gordon. Paul Dano as The Riddler. Zoë Kravitz as Catwoman. Colin Farrell as The Penguin. Andy Serkis as Alfred Pennyworth. It’s gonna be good. The Batman is set for release on October 1st, 2021.
